Which Banks are supported?
My bank account is secured with two factor auth (2FA) - is it supported?
While we support almost all banks, if your account is secured with two factor authentication it is not able to to be synced with Budget Feeder. Support for these types of accounts is part of our longer term roadmap, and could be implemented by way of a manual sync, where you would need to enter your auth code for each sync. If this is a feature that you would like to see implemented, please get in touch!
Which banks are supported?
Budget Feeder supports around 150 Australian banks! Please see this page for a full list of our supported banks.
How does use of Budget Feeder comply with my bank's terms
When you accept the Budget Feeder Terms, you grant a Limited Power of Attorney specifically for the purpose of accessing your account to sync transactions. This is the basis under which Budget Feeder is able to legitimately access accounts. Budget Feeder makes use of the same type of Bank Feeds that YNAB themselves use for the bank feeds available to their customers in the USA. Budget Feeder has also been vetted and accepted by YNAB for access to the YNAB
How to add a new card or account from an existing bank connection?
From time to time, you may open a new credit card, or open a new account with a bank that you already have set up a connection for within Budget Feeder. To refresh the accounts within Budget Feeder so you can sync this new account, please reconnect your bank. This will refresh the accounts list.
