When you first set up Budget Feeder and connect it to your bank accounts, your transactions are immediately synced to your budget accounts. After that, transactions are synced once per day. How long do transactions take to sync?
Budget feeder automatically syncs your YNAB transactions to your Australian bank accounts each afternoon. You'll see the transactions in your budget as needing to be categorised. If you have the YNAB app installed you can configure it to notify you when this happens. Pending transactions are not synced until they have cleared. Even when you're using Budget Feeder to automatically sync your transactions, some customers like to enter some transactions manually, and this is supported by Budget Feeder. When your transactions sync to your YNAB, they are automatically matched to any manually entered transactions you may have so that you don't end up with duplicates.
How many banks and accounts can I sync from?
Budget Feeder allows you to sync an unlimited number of bank accounts, however the following limits are in place: You are able to sync from a maximum of 10 individual financial institutions (although unlimited accounts held at these institutions can be synced) Only a single login per financial institution. An error occurred with one of my sync runs, what should I do?
When Budget Feeder tries to sync your transactions, from time to time an error may occur that prevents transaction syncing from taking place. This is normal, and can occur for a variety of reasons such as: Your banking details have changed Your bank's online portal is temporarily down for maintenance The YNAB API is temporarily down for maintenance Your YNAB subscription has lapsed In the case of a temporary error, Budget Feeder automatically tries to sync your transactions again.
