We understand you're looking for a reliable alternative in light of BankSync's upcoming closure.

Budget Feeder is fully operational, and actively syncing transactions for our customers across a wide range of Australian banks. While we're aware that Open Banking (CDR) is available and continuing to evolve, we face the same regulatory limitations that BankSync outlined - the legislation prevents us from sharing banking data via the CDR with third parties like YNAB, which makes it incompatible with our service model.

We're committed to keeping Budget Feeder running as long as feasible. The reality is that direct access works, and we have a large base of satisfied customers who rely on our service daily.

Recently, we've become unable to support CBA due to their implementation of multi-factor authentication, and it's possible other banks may introduce similar measures in the future. However, we currently support many major Australian banks and continue to sync transactions reliably for our users.
