Migrating from Bank Sync for YNAB
First up, welcome BankSync Customers! This article provides information to help make your transition to Budget Feeder as easy as possible.
To get started, register a new account with Budget Feeder at https://www.budgetfeeder.com/pricing/. All new customers receive a free 7 day trial, although we do require a credit card up front.
The system will guide you through the process of connecting your YNAB Budgets, connecting your bank accounts, and choosing which bank accounts should sync to which YNAB accounts.
Once this is done you will be guided through turning on syncing for each Bank one by one. You have the option to choose how far back (days worth of transactions) you want your transactions synced in this first sync. We suggest leaving it at the default of 7 days.
When you have performed your first sync, you may find a few duplicate transactions in your YNAB accounts. You can simply delete these directly from YNAB as they occur, and after that sync will operate normally.
